Replace your current EV charge point with a premium Andersen unit. As part of the upgrade package, we will install your new, bespoke charge point at no cost, plus we'll responsibly dispose of your old unit, too.

All you need to know about our upgrade service
Can owners of any charge point benefit from an upgrade?
Yes, owners of any brand of charge point are eligible for an Upgrade.
What’s included in the upgrade?
We will remove your existing charge point and install your new Andersen A2 in its place, using the cabling and electrical protections of your existing installation.
What happens if my existing installation is unsuitable to be upgraded?
If, following receipt of the on-line survey, we identify any elements which will need to be modified in order to bring your installation up to the latest electrical standards, we will quote you for the work.
I want to Upgrade, can I choose from the full range of Andersen products?
Yes, you can order your Andersen A2 in any configuration. Additional extras (such as premium finishes and longer charging cables) will be charged as normal.
What will happen to my old charge point?
Once we’ve de-installed your old charge point, we will take it away to be recycled.
Is this only available for single phase charge points?
No, if you have a three-phase charger, you can benefit from an Upgrade to an Andersen A2. You just need to call us on 01234 916133 to start the process. Please note that you cannot upgrade from single to three phase.
I’m completing the online survey, but it asks about cable route - what information do I need to add?
The online survey is designed to suit our Upgrade and our Standard Installation customers. Upgrade customers just need to provide a photograph of the existing cable route to their charge point.
Can this be used for unit-only purchases?
The upgrade is available with chargers that are installed by Andersen’s in-house team of electricians.
How do I upgrade?
Configure your Andersen A2 charge point, choosing from 126 colour and finish combinations. At the checkout page, simply use the code UPGRADE and complete your order.
