How do I add Tap Electric to my Andersen charge point order?

To benefit from the Tap Electric scheme, please complete the form found in the Tap Electric section of our website. Once we receive your request, a member of our team will be in touch with the next steps.

Does Tap Electric work with all Andersen models?

The Tap Electric technology works with all Quartz models, A3, and A2 7kW Refresh models. If you are unsure, please contact us to check.

What are the benefits of adding Tap Electric to my Andersen?

Tap Electric provides complimentary software that enables you to manage your charge point 0 set tariffs, monitor usage, and collect payments from drivers. Your charger can be onboarded in just a few minutes via the Tap Electric app or web portal. You have full control over your charging rates, allowing you to be both competitive and profitable. Tap Electric manages all payment processing and pays you the full tariff you set, minus any transaction fees charged to drivers.

How do I connect my Andersen charge point to Tap Electric?

Andersen will arrange for QR stickers to be sent to you. By applying a QR sticker to your charger, drivers can easily locate it in the Tap Electric app if you allow. Each QR sticker is unique and can only be assigned to one charger. Once you’ve applied it, you’ll need to link it to your charger using the Tap Electric App.

Steps to link your QR sticker:

Open the Tap Electric app on your phone.
Go to the Manage tab in the bottom menu.
Select the charger you’re working on.
Scroll right and tap the QR button.
Scan the QR sticker with your phone’s camera.

I’m an Airbnb host - will Tap Electric work for me?

Yes - Tap Electric is ideal for hosts and their guests. Offering an EV charger is a great way to enhance your property’s appeal, and with Tap Electric, it’s easy to collect payments. Simply add your charger to the app, set your tariff, connect your bank account, and start earning straight away. It’s completely free for hosts - Tap Electric applies a small transaction fee to guests.
